At
the years end , we still had a couple thousand dollars of " New Years Party Packs" left unsold.
These consisted of streamers, hats,
banners, noisemakers, etc. Several of our staff members wanted to put them to
good use,
rather than let gather dust for another year.
They
decided to donate all of them to local nursing homes, civic groups, and
children's hospitals.
Within minutes after the decision was made to give them
all away, our trucks were on the road.
After the exhausting pace of the
holidays, it we a move that put us all back in the "spirit of the season".
The thank- you letters we received were heartwarming. . |
