Reserving Rental Items

We encourage you to talk with us early in your event planning to ensure availability of the items. We guarantee availability of the items you’ve selected once your contract is signed and the deposit is paid.

Rates

All rates are quoted based on a one-day event. Weekends are considered a one-day rental. Please call us for a customized quote for long term rentals. Prices quoted by phone or via our website are subject to change. However, all prices are guaranteed once you’ve signed a rental contract.

Payment

We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. For in-store pick up, cash and check transactions, we require a copy of a valid driver’s license. Kosins-Credit-Cards

Delivery

Delivery and pick-up is available with a minimum of $200 in rentals before tax. Delivery is to the door at street level. If you require special unloading and handling, such as up or down stairs, or at some distant location, the store should be notified prior to delivery. At pick-up, all items must be assembled in a single location with tables and chairs folded and stacked. Items not meeting these conditions are subject to additional charges. For delivery and pick-up time frames that are not during our regular seasonal business hours, there is an after-hours charge that is dependent on the size of the order, time stipulations, distance, labor, etc. Use our Delivery Calculator to calculate the cost of your delivery.

Self-Serve Pick-up

You are welcome to pick up and/or return most items to Kosins Tents & Events at no additional cost. You may pick up and return items during our regular store hours with no appointment necessary.

Set-Up & Take-Down

Set-up and take-down are available at an additional cost. Arrangement for this service must be made in advance. If no arrangements are made and this service is desired on delivery and/or pick-up, our drivers must call our office for authorization. If we are able to provide the service, charges must be paid in full at that time. Delivery and pick-up is done during our normal business hours. If the venue has special stipulations, we can arrange an after-hours pick-up or delivery when arranged ahead of time, with an additional charge depending on labor, location, time, etc.

Loss or Damage

Responsibility for equipment remains with the customer from the time of delivery or customer pick-up to time of return to the store. Additional charges apply for missing, broken, burned, or damaged items. Please be sure all items are protected from the weather and secured when not in use. All rental items are counted at delivery to your site and at pick up. We will make every attempt to locate all items and will promptly notify you if any are missing. Should an item not be returned at the end of the rental period, you will be charged that cost for the item. Should you later find that item, and return it to us in good condition, we will be glad to refund this charge.

Damage Waiver

Damage Waiver is an optional service to relieve the renter of liability for accidental damage to rented items. The damage waiver is 10% of the rental amount and non-refundable.

Preparing Rental Items for Return

We do not require customers to return items washed or cleaned. However, food service items should be returned food free. That means wiped or rinsed clean of any food. Linens should be placed in the linen bags we provide with your order.

Changes and Cancellations

We can accept changes to your contract up to 14 days before your scheduled delivery or pick up time, at no cost to you. But because we take great care to ensure that all items are cleaned and prepared for each customer’s use, we cannot issue a total refund on any unused item that has left our warehouse. Should you decide you do not need an item after it has been pulled or loaded onto our delivery truck, but has not yet been delivered to you, a 25% restocking fee will apply. Tent rentals and other special items have additional cancellation policies. Our customer service team will be happy to review all of our policies with you.
